Day 42: The First 3 Things to Delegate When You’re Scaling

Want more time?
Want more freedom?

You don’t need to delegate everything at once.
But you do need to start with the right moves.

There are 3 things you should stop doing first—if you’re serious about scaling.

What’s not working:

  • Waiting until you’re overwhelmed to offload

  • Delegating things that are easy, but not high-impact

  • Thinking “no one can do it like me” (maybe true—but irrelevant)

  • Holding on to control that’s actually holding you back

Letting go of the right 20% unlocks the next 80%.

What you’re looking for:

✅ More energy for strategy and leadership
✅ Fewer bottlenecks around your name
✅ A business that runs without your fingerprints on everything
✅ A team that grows through ownership
✅ Systems that let you lead the brand, not work in it

Start by delegating these 3 things:

1. Scheduling and Client Flow

Someone else should:

  • Manage the calendar

  • Confirm appointments

  • Handle rebooking

  • Watch for gaps

This is one of the highest-leverage things to offload fast.

2. Inventory and Supply Ordering

If you're still tracking color, blades, or skincare yourself—stop.

Give someone a simple system, budget, and checklist.

This eats hours you’ll never get back.

3. Daily Team Communication

You shouldn’t be the team’s group chat.

Coach one leader to handle the day-to-day questions, check-ins, and follow-ups.

Your job is to lead the leaders—not manage every detail.

How we help:

We help brands design Delegation Maps that:

  • Identify your highest-friction tasks

  • Train the right team members to take over

  • Build systems for accountability and performance

  • Unlock your time without breaking the business

One brand offloaded these 3 areas in 45 days—
The owner gained 12+ hours per week, and the team grew faster with clear ownership.
