Day 2: My Morning Routine (And Why It Matters)

I wake up at 4:30 AM every day.

Not because I love early mornings — but because I love what they give me: peace, focus, and control.

☀️ My Morning Routine

  • 4:30 AM – Wake up & brush my teeth

  • Then I journal.
It’s the first thing I do in the morning and the last thing I do at night. Journaling keeps me steady. It clears my mind and tracks where I’m going.

  • No phone for the first 90 minutes.
I protect that space. No texts. No noise. No distractions.

  • Espresso shot.
One quick hit. It’s the signal — time to move.

  • 5:00 AM – Gym.
No phone. Just AirPods connected to my Apple Watch. That’s it. I train hard. It’s physical, but it’s also mental.

  • 6:00 AM – Home.
I review the day. Calendar, top priorities, mindset. I get sharp before I step into anything else.

  • 7:00 or 8:00 AM – Partner meeting.
We hit the ground running. The way I communicate is short, focused, and direct. I’m not rude — I’m intentional. Pleasantries live in the intro. After that, it’s all business. We only get so much time — we’re going to optimize it.

  • After that?
It’s off to the races. The day picks up speed. But because of how I started, I’m ready for it.

Why This Routine Matters

This isn’t about being perfect.
It’s about being present — sharp, steady, and ready to lead.

When I take care of myself first, I show up better for my team, my business, and everyone I serve.

You Don’t Need My Routine — But You Do Need One

Maybe 4:30 AM isn’t your thing. That’s fine.

But creating your space — even just 20 minutes in the morning — will change how you think, lead, and feel.

Control your day before it controls you.

This is Day 2 of my 100-day blog series.
Every post is built for shop, salon, and medical spa owners who want to grow, lead, and win — without wasting time.

Let’s keep going.
